Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or related field (preferred).
Strong experience in woven garments.
Proven track record of handling reputed international buyers.
Strong understanding of quality systems, inspection standards, and compliance.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and result-driven General Manager – Quality Control to lead and strengthen the quality function of our woven garment manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure end-to-end quality assurance from raw material to final shipment, maintain international compliance standards, and drive continuous improvement across all quality processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership
· Lead the entire Quality Control & Assurance team across cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing.
· Develop and implement robust quality strategies aligned with buyer requirements and company goals.
· Establish a strong quality culture focused on “Right First Time” and zero-defect mindset.
2. Quality Management & Compliance
Ensure adherence to international quality standards such as ISO 9001, buyer-specific manuals, and compliance requirements.
Oversee inline, end-line, and final inspections as per AQL standards.
Handle buyer audits, third-party inspections, and certification processes.
3. Process Control & Improvement
Analyze defect trends and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Drive root cause analysis using structured problem-solving tools.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
4. Team Management & Development
Build, train, and mentor a high-performing QC team including managers, supervisors, and inspectors.
Set KPIs for the team and ensure strict performance monitoring.
Promote accountability, discipline, and proactive problem-solving.
5. Buyer Communication & Satisfaction
Act as the key contact for buyers on all quality-related matters.
Ensure clear communication regarding quality expectations, approvals, and shipment status.
Handle claims, rejections, and corrective actions effectively.
6. Pre-production & Bulk Monitoring
Approve PP samples, size sets, and pilot runs before bulk production.
Ensure quality checkpoints are strictly followed throughout production stages.
Collaborate closely with production, merchandising, and technical teams.
7. Risk Management
Identify potential quality risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure shipment is aligned with buyer quality requirements and timelines.
Maintain strict control to avoid rework, rejection, and financial loss.
