∎ At least 15 years of experience out of which 2 - 3 years in similar position from any large Group of Industries;
∎ Should have experience in the field of Import/ Export through L/C & T/T Freight Forwarding;
∎ Strong knowledge regarding Bill of Lading, other shipping documents, UCPDC, Incoterms and experienced in preparing shipping documents for export and import;
∎ Well conversant with Bond License, Shipping lines, Bank Correspondence & other statutory authorities, and C&F procedure for clearance of the consignment in port;
∎ Fair knowledge of sight, deferred and Back to Back L/C;
∎ Should have clear knowledge on HS Code & SRO;
∎ Highly experienced on individuals to manage the entire the commercial operation of the Group;
∎ Conceptual, analytical, documentation and presentation skills;
∎ Excellent communication in both written and speaking in English;
∎ Well conversant in Accounting ERP, especially in Oracle systems;
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The roles of the position requires to strong acumen & leadership capacity to lead, guide & manage a large professional commercial team and also play a vital role in ensuring that all the challenges related to all kinds of commercial issues and support for developing commercial strategy for the Business Units with effective management of all functions of commercial procedures. The position will be act as a change agent to accelerate organizational development and overall transformation. We are looking for an experienced, energetic, dynamic and aspiring candidate who would join our team and meaningfully contribute to the efforts to reach the organization's goal.
∎ Overall control and supervision of import & export functions of all concerns of the Group;
∎ Lead, monitor, coordinate & supervise day to day activities of Commercial department
∎ Review or update commercial procedures in accordance with new or changing standards;
∎ Oversee, Check & control PI & other invoices, packing list & other related documents for exporting/importing of goods/services;
∎ Handle all logistics activities related to import/export for RMG, Textile and other concerns of the Group;
∎ Monitor and deal import/export related documents with the respective authorities of Bank and Buyers;
∎ Ensure shipping documents are submitted/delivered to respective custom stations on time;
∎ Speed up export clearance & documentation through effective communication & monitoring;
∎ Establish standard procedures for specific freight forwarder and prepare comparative statement for specific exportable items;
∎ Prepare and finalize of all export documents as per buyer's requirement and follow up export independently for various buyers;
∎ Liaison and coordinate all activities of Customs, Bond, Bond audit, Bonded ware house, Incentive, EPB, BTMA.BKMEA, BGMEA, BIDA (BOI), BANK, CUSTOMS HOUSE, VAT, Income tax etc.;
∎ Ensure renewal of all kind of Company Certificates from government authorities are done timely and must stop all type of demurrage;
∎ Monitor & manage L/C related work which includes, corresponding with buyers, opening L/C and its amendment, monitoring, shipment, document retirement formalities and custom clearing, C&F Agent and transport related concern authorities for smooth and timely delivery of goods;
∎ Continuous monitor & track various stages of Export as well as payment follow-up;
∎ Maintain archiving of customs documents based on legal requirements; Resolves customer issues, handles and solves incidents;
