Responsibilities & Context:

Financial Management & Planning

  • Oversee company-wide financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

  • Provide strategic financial guidance to company management for business planning and decision-making.

  • Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions when necessary.

Accounting Operations

  • Supervise all accounting activities including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and cash flow management.

  • Ensure proper recording, classification, and documentation of financial transactions.

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes.

  • Track and monitor project-wise expenses, land development costs, construction expenditures and marketing costs.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer booking, advances, instalments and outstanding balance.

Compliance, Audit & Internal Control

  • Ensure compliance with VAT, Income tax and other regularity requirements applicable to real estate operation.

  • Establish and strengthen internal control systems across accounting processes.

  • Coordinate with internal auditors and manage external audit activities efficiently.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, budget variance reports, and management dashboards.

  • Ensure accuracy, transparency, and timely submission of all financial reports.

  • Analyze financial risks and propose mitigation measures.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management

  • Monitor liquidity, working capital, and fund flow requirements.

  • Manage banking operations, loan facilities, LC/Bank guarantees, and financial institution relationships.

  • Recommend cost optimization and financial efficiency strategies.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor the Accounts & Finance team.

  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide training for skill enhancement.

  • Maintain a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Policy, Systems & Process Improvement

  • Develop and update financial policies, SOPs, and accounting guidelines.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives (ERP/Accounting Software).

  • Ensure smooth integration between Finance and other departments.

Cross-Departmental Coordination

  • Work closely with Sales, HR, Procurement, Legal, and Operations teams for financial alignment.

Provide project-wise cost tracking and financial support for real estate development activities.
