Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Attract potential clients by marketing the Bank’s products and services, with a focus on deposit acquisition in alignment with the Bank’s business objectives.
∎ Achieve business objectives in deposit mobilization, card sales, and cross-selling of banking products.
∎ Maintain and grow low-cost deposits (CASA – Current Account and Savings Account) through strategic client acquisition, corporate engagements, and relationship building to expand the Bank’s deposit portfolio.
∎ Manage account opening, closing, and other account opening related services by collecting all required documentation and ensuring compliance of laws and regulations and regulatory requirements.
∎ Process client requests for cheque books, debit cards, and payment orders after proper verification and documentation.
∎ Handle the issuance, encashment, renewal, and closure of fixed deposit, deposit schemes, and other term accounts while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
∎ Deliver customer service across all general banking functions in accordance with internal service standards and regulatory guidelines.
∎ Maintain high-quality customer relationships through prompt, courteous, and effective communication and service delivery.
∎ Monitor and periodically review high-risk customer profiles to prevent fraudulent or suspicious activities.
