Experience:

Program Development:

• Design and implement gender-focused programs that address social norms and promote gender equality.
• Develop tools and resources for community engagement and capacity building.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Collaborate with local communities, government agencies, and other NGOs to promote gender-sensitive policies and practices.
• Facilitate workshops, trainings, and discussions on gender equality and social norm change.

Research and Analysis:

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on gender issues and social norms.
• Analyze data to inform program strategies and assess impact.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

• Establish indicators to measure program effectiveness and impact on gender norms.
• Regularly assess and report on program progress and outcomes.

Advocacy:

• Advocate for gender-sensitive policies and practices at local, national, and international levels.
• Prepare policy briefs, reports, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.

Capacity Building:

• Train staff and community members on gender analysis and social norm interventions.
• Support the development of local leaders and organizations in gender advocacy.

Integrity:

• Showcases integrity standards as outlined in Cordaid’s integrity policies. Fulfills integrity responsibilities as outlined in Cordaid’s Integrity Framework and Standard Operating Procedures. Actively contributes to a safe environment within their scope of influence by encouraging dialogue, trust, and understanding and adherence to Cordaid’s integrity standards and procedures.

Other duties/additional tasks:

• Supports the project’s security and risk management system through identification, communication and analysis of potential risks and security issues in the project region and related mitigation recommendations and procedures.
