Job Responsibilities:
∎ We are looking for a dynamic team player who will responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of the gender thematic programs in line with the overall Oxfam Strategic Plan, program, Gender thematic strategies and Programming guidelines. S/he will provide technical and methodological support to Oxfam Bangladesh Country program that includes Rohingya response and other thematic pillars in relation to gender work and transformative leadership. S/he shall actively contribute to define strategies advancing gender work through design, implementation, research, partnership, alliance building and advocacy initiatives. S/he shall provide leadership in cross-learning and knowledge generation for thematic alignment in relation to Oxfam's gender strategic priorities across the organization. One of the key focus of this role will be Fund Raising and Donor Reporting. S/he will contribute to design new business model for Gender Justice Program in collaboration with the Business Development and Program Quality team, identify new funding sources and generate concept notes and proposals in line with the gender thematic strategies.
Additional Requirements:

∎ Strong leadership, influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrable experience of working in achieving organizational change in the area of gender and women rights. (E).
∎ At least 5 years working experience on gender related programme at national and international NGOs or relevant organizations (E).
∎ Specialist knowledge of gender equality, the rights of women and girls and engaging men and boys in gender equality in theory and in practice in a development and humanitarian context. (E)
∎ Extensive experience of working with gender mainstreaming in development programming including programme development, implementation and monitoring and evaluation. (E)
∎ Proven experience of working with public/private sector for economic involvement of women (E)
∎ Ability to build effective relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and different levels of seniority (E).
∎ Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and see and act upon opportunities and build network and partnerships. (E)
∎ Participation in humanitarian strategy development, emergency preparedness plan, emergency response plan and coordinate implementation of response operations for Oxfam in line with Gender (D)
∎ Lead on entrepreneurship skills development packages and innovative training approaches and methodologies for women & youth to start and build successful enterprises (D)
∎ Demonstrable people and budget management skills. (E)
∎ Experience in providing advisory support to both senior managers and programme staff and good ability to facilitate learning and knowledge management (D).
∎ Clear knowledge and understanding about the national and international process of women's movement, protocols, instruments which preserving and protecting women rights and entitlements (E).
∎ Minimum understanding about LGBTI communities (D).
∎ Good communication, facilitation and representation skills. (E)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ BDT. 21,71,400 (13 months) per annum gross with other benefits e.g. medical for spouse and children, contributory Provident fund, gratuity, leave & Insurance etc.
