Experience:
At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the development sector, preferably in INGOs with at least 3 years’ experience in Rohingya response.
Sound experience of Gender responsive approaches.
Profound experience in supporting women in skills development, SMEs and employment.
Profound experience in training, moderation, facilitation and liaison.
Experience in designing and developing gender related guidelines, modules, training content and gender mainstreaming in skills and capacity building, especially with vulnerable girls and women.
Experience/knowledge on women empowerment methods, such as GALS.
Experience with skills and economic development of women with disabilities is an asset.
Position based in Hnila Union Parishad, Teknaf-Cox’s Bazar.

Ensure Gender responsive livelihoods among FDMNs:
The GBV Assistant will be responsible for implementing the GBV components of the project.
S/he will also be responsible for ensuring the established GFIS are fully functional and social hubs for productivity and a safe zone for women and other minorities.
At the same time, s/he will provide psychological support to the GBV victims.
S/he will also be responsible for collaborating with the trainers to provide gender-focused life skills training, prepare/modify training modules as needed and conduct orientation/training sessions with other team members.

Establish GFIS as hubs for economic activity and social interaction, fostering a sense of community and reducing inter-group tensions.
Support the creation of gender responsive vocational orientation approaches, as well in employment opportunities for girls and women with vulnerable background.
Assist in identifying creative, innovative approaches to challenges and on how to address specific issues such as the inclusion of women with disabilities into skills development.
Work closely together with the Gender Focal Point on Sectors and Country level.
Effectively cooperating with the monitoring officer, communication officer and other technical protect colleagues to make sure that gender responsive approaches are applied across all project activities and the target.
Coordination and establish linkage between relevant local authorities.
Ensure quality Project Implementation:
Follow technical guidance from GFIS & Enterprise Promotion Officer to ensure quality of project’s gender responsive activities.
Ensure capacity development of the representatives of the local state and non-state actors in gender mainstreaming, advocacy and skills development for women with low educational background.
Ensuring due consideration of Cordaid’s (capacity development, gender and disability, do-no-harm, beneficiary participation) in project activities.
Providing technical guidance and assistance to implementing partners, government entities and service providers.
Contributing to knowledge management, documentation and reporting obligations.
Networking:
Facilitates interactions with key stakeholders, including high-level senior government officials.
Organizes and moderate events, dialogues, workshops, training and meetings.
Builds up a reliable cooperation structures in the entrusted field, involving key local state and non-state actors, service providers.
Field & Partner visits:
Monitors the achievements of project’s target. Reviews field reports, analyzes field data and formulates conclusions, discussion points and recommendations for all stakeholders.
Project reports:
Collects information within the project and reports about the results, specifics, budget and expenditures and possible deviations following required reporting standards, providing solutions to minimize impact of deviations.
Personnel management:
Coaches staff and leaves room for professional freedom to determine how to execute the work.
Ensures efficient use of resources and controls quality of work.
Integrity:
Showcases integrity standards as outlined in Cordaid’s integrity policies.
Fulfills integrity responsibilities as outlined in Cordaid’s Integrity Framework and Standard Operating Procedures.

Other duties/additional tasks:
Supports the project’s security and risk management system through identification, communication and analysis of potential risks and security issues in the project region and related mitigation recommendations and procedures.
Other relevant duties assigned by the supervisor to support program implementation, including for other project output.
