About Kisti
Kisti (কিস্তি) is an early-stage fintech startup bringing Buy Now, Pay Later to Bangladesh. Our mission is to become the default way to pay in installments across Bangladesh and the broader South Asia region. As a startup, we move fast, wear many hats, and value creativity, ownership, and building things that matter. Joining us means getting in early and making a real impact as we grow.

Good design sense and an eye for craft. We care about the small details that make an app feel right. Jim Nielsen's essay "Sanding UI" (https://blog.jim-nielsen.com/2024/sanding-ui/) captures the mindset: he describes building a UI, then clicking through it over and over, the way a woodworker runs their hand over a plank and sands down every splinter, until the rough edges are gone and the whole thing feels smooth. One small example from the piece: adding a flexbox gap between a radio button and its label looked clean, but it quietly created a dead zone where clicking did nothing, so he reworked it until the whole row was clickable. Individually these are tiny things, but enough small splinters add up to a frustrating experience. That's the standard we hold ourselves to.
