Job Context:
∎ Contract duration - 30th November 2020.(Possibility of extension)
∎ Start date - ASAP
∎ Direct the implementation of community Kitchen activities under Food Security, Livelihood and DRR department, Emergency cooked food distribution to the targeted beneficiaries.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Objective 1: Implement project activities
∎ Ensure the implementation of activities defined by the Programme Manager (PM in coordination with the Logistics Department).
∎ Plan activities according to the expected progress of the project.
∎ The direct implementation of community kitchen program, in accordance with donor agreements.
∎ Provide appropriate weekly and monthly food plan to the line manager.
∎ Ensure the quantity and quality of supplied commodities and items.
∎ Ensure the supply of meal according to the menu provided by the donor.
∎ Ensure the safety, security and hygiene for Community kitchen operation.
∎ Ensure the vehicle support to carry the food and non-food items with collaboration of Logistic team
∎ Carry out project monitoring and update project needs.
∎ Follow the project's progress, write relevant reports, and share the weekly reports to the line manager.
∎ Regular filed visit and crosscheck the stock and beneficiaries attendance register for each Community Kitchen
∎ Write up the case study of the implemented project,
∎ Identify and inform the programme managers of any problems or constraints,
∎ Propose solutions or improvements to ensure the smooth running of the project.
∎ Objective 2: Participate in coordination of the project
∎ Participate in meetings organized by local authority in order to share the process.
∎ Participate in monthly coordination meeting at camp level
∎ Coordinate activities and sensitize team in the field.
∎ Face the donor visit at field level.
∎ Objective 3: Manage the project's team
∎ Train and sensitize the daily workers, volunteers and the team members
∎ Provide on job training to the staffs if needed
∎ Ensure PPE for the staffs and volunteers at the Community Kitchen
∎ Organize the teamwork to optimize the capacity of each team member
∎ Ensure the staffs attendance and submit to the line manager timely.
∎ Assist the staffs to preparing the time sheet appropriately.
∎ Keep the records of Staffs leave and share it to the line manager in monthly basis.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Professional experience in Food Security & Livelihood (FSL) and DRR project especially on Community Kitchen or general food distribution program.
∎ Ability to read, write and understand English.
∎ Clear and understandable hand writing.
∎ Physical fitness, good relations with other people, good communication skills, Hardworking, patience and ability to work in a team.
∎ Skill on Microsoft office.
Salary: Tk. 55000 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 02 basic salary per year.
∎ Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary.
∎ End of Contract Benefits: As per organization policy.
∎ Medical coverage: 80% hospitalization coverage medical expenses (max limit BDT 120,000 per year).
