About the Role:
Meena Bazar is seeking a motivated and responsible individual to manage day-to-day floor operations and ensure smooth customer service delivery. The Floor Supervisor / Officer will play a key role in maintaining product display standards, stock accuracy, staff coordination, and overall store presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily floor operations, including customer service, POS counter support, and assisting departments with manpower shortages.
Ensure all floor staff are properly groomed and presentable before store opening.
Conduct staff briefings for perishable departments to ensure effective communication across overlapping shifts.
Monitor employee attendance and report to the duty manager on a regular basis.
Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of display chillers, weighing scales, and price tags in the produce section.
Supervise the arrangement and display of fish, meat, and produce items to ensure freshness and visual appeal.
Sort and record wastage or unsalable products (fruits, vegetables, fish, and meat) and reconcile with scrap registers before reporting to the Outlet Manager.
Ensure the FIFO (First In, First Out) method is followed for all perishable product displays.
Identify out-of-stock items and inform the Outlet Manager of necessary replenishment or purchase approval.
Maintain a designated area for damaged and waste items, ensuring proper segregation and labeling.
Prepare and share category-wise wastage and return-to-vendor analysis reports.
Track daily ice purchases and report requirements for timely ordering.
Analyze category-wise sales and gross profit performance; share insights with staff for continuous improvement.
Conduct periodic stock counts for perishable items and report any variances or shrinkage.
Perform regular market surveys for vegetables, fruits, fish, and meat, and submit findings to the Outlet Manager.
