∎ Strong knowledge of garment finishing processes.
∎ Leadership in managing large teams and finishing operations.
∎ Experience in quality control and on-time shipment.
∎ Good coordination with merchandising and production teams.
∎ Familiar with compliance standards and lean practices
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead and manage all activities in the finishing section to ensure timely delivery of quality garments as per buyer specifications.
∎ Monitor and ensure smooth operations of finishing processes, including trimming, ironing, tagging, folding, packing, and final inspection.
∎ Supervise finishing manpower, plan daily workload, and ensure optimal utilization of resources.
∎ Coordinate with production, quality control, merchandising, and warehouse teams to align finishing targets with shipment schedules.
∎ Ensure strict quality standards are maintained throughout the finishing process.
∎ Identify process bottlenecks and take corrective measures to improve productivity and reduce rejection rates.
∎ Maintain and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in the finishing floor.
∎ Oversee finishing production reports, daily output tracking, and performance analysis for continuous improvement.
∎ Train, guide, and evaluate finishing team members to enhance their skills and efficiency.
∎ Ensure proper documentation of finishing activities and readiness for audits (buyer, compliance, or certification).
∎ Implement lean practices and 5S methodology to maintain a clean and efficient finishing environment.
∎ Resolve technical issues related to garment finishing, packaging, and final appearance.
