• Plan, organize, and supervise finishing operations (trimming, checking, ironing, folding, tagging, packing, carton sealing)
• Ensure shipment targets are met as per production and delivery schedule
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Planning departments for smooth workflow
• Monitor manpower allocation and productivity in finishing sections
• Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, quality standards, and packing instructions
• Supervise final quality checking to ensure zero defect shipment
• Maintain AQL standards and ensure proper inspection procedures
• Control rework, rejection, and wastage to minimize cost
• Ensure correct labeling, barcoding, assortment, and carton marking
• Maintain proper WIP tracking and finishing status reports
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly finishing MIS reports
• Coordinate with commercial / shipping team for on-time dispatch
• Ensure proper use and control of finishing accessories and packing materials
• Implement 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards in finishing area
• Train and guide finishing supervisors and operators
• Handle buyer audits and inspections related to finishing
• Ensure compliance with factory rules, safety, and labor standards
