  • M.Com Pass but MBA from Accounting / Management a recognized university will be given preference.

  • Age: Maximum 45 years (Flexible for experienced candidates).

  • Candidates should have minimum 12–15 years of progressive financial leadership with expert-level command of financial software and reporting systems.

  • A valid motorcycle driving license is required.

  • Applicants should have good computer knowledge, especially in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, and excellent spoken and written English language skills are essential, as well as the ability to produce quality reports.



Responsibilities & Context:

LAMB is a well-run major mission Hospital, Community Health Development, Training and Research organization. Services cover more than 6.3 million people in North West Bangladesh.

There are vacancies for the following contractual positions at the LAMB under Community Health and Development Program (CHDP), based in Nilphamari District.

Job Summary:

  • The Finance Officer is responsible for ensuring an efficient and effective financial management system for the project.

  • This position is to maintain accurate accounting records in compliance with financial policies and procedures of LAMB acknowledged by donor organization.

  • S/he ensures excellence in books of accounts as well as regular accounting reconciliations.

  • S/he also prepares accurate and timely financial summaries, reports and assessment of financial needs and cash flow requirements, controlling bank account balances, cash holding to optimal balance to avoid any liquidity issues of project funds.

  • S/he will also review and ensure timely drafting of inputs for finalizing donor reports.

  • S/he is also responsible for the budget controlling within designed proposal and provide administrative support to the supervisor for its smooth operation.

  • S/he will collaborate with the project team in reviewing and preparing monthly, quarterly and final narrative reports.

  • The incumbent is also responsible for ensuring use of appropriate tools and process at all stages.
