There is a vacancy for the following regular position based at LAMB Learning & Development Center, Parbatipur, Dinajpur.
Job Summary: This role is part of the teaching staff of the Diploma in Nursing Science & Midwifery and Diploma in Midwifery Education Program in line with established standards and curriculum at LAMB.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach the Nursing & Midwifery students with specialized knowledge and skills, delivering quality teaching in selected modules essential for student graduation and licensing through the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC).
Provide supportive skill supervision in the hospital/community clinics where students practice their clinical skills.
Monitor student progress and facilitate achievement of program objectives.
Assist in developing training programs and teaching health care workers.
Facilitate the Nursing and Midwifery class
Works with the NI principal ,NI and LLDC instructors to develop curriculum for nursing and Midwifery related subjects
Follows required practices for lesson preparation
Fulfills teaching requirements per yearly teaching plan both in the classroom and during practical placements on the wards and in the community (FWC,SDU)
Contribute to preparing clinical rotational plan along with fellow Instructor and for the Midwifery and Nursing students clinical practice and share with clinical team
To prepared Lesson Plan and PPT, questions making under module based
Orient students to the clinical sites with fellow instructors; observe students’ interactions with clients and identify gaps in quality service delivery; evaluate students’ competencies during service delivery;
Maintain the skills labs, prepare the skills labs with fellow instructors for specific session demonstrations and teach students through demonstration based on the session plan and the academic calendar;
Checks checklists/logbooks filled by students, review the clinical learning at the end of each shift and assist students in writing about reflective practice in line with learning objectives along with fellow instructors;
Conduct assessment of students’ performance and communicate with fellow instructors regarding any student whose performance is unsatisfactory or unsafe, or whenever there are any concerns about her progress;
Conduct other activities as and when assigned by the Supervisors.
To supervise Nursing & Midwifery students during their practical work in the hospital.
To work for shifting duty all wards and OPD in Hospital.
To prepare the clinical schedule for Nursing and Midwifery students.
