∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Minimum Post Graduation completed in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline.Experience Requirements·
∎ At least 5-7 years on relevant field.Additional Requirements·
∎ Age bellow or equal to 40 years; age limit may be relaxed for the competent candidates.·
∎ Minimum 02 years in NGO/INGOs/ Development Sector etc.·
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Accounts and Finance field/Project implementation and documentation / Reporting / Budgeting.·
∎ Sound knowledge and familiarity with ICT applications.·
∎ Sound knowledge on operating Tally Accounting Software.·
∎ Willingness to work with under pressure and travel.·
∎ Local candidates will be given priority.·
∎ Sound knowledge on PSEA, Safeguarding policy and Gender policy.·
∎ Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems.·
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead develop and mentor staff during organizational development and transitions.·
∎ Leader who ensures a productive working environment and confidently coaches and motivates employees to meet organizational goals·
∎ Proven experience using technology to improve financial management systems.·
∎ Ability to effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities.·
∎ Full proficiency in English will be preferred.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ JNUS is a community-based, women-led Non-Governmental organization. The vision of JNUS is to bring an end to all forms of violence and discrimination against women, irrespective of gender, race, religion and culture. It aspires for a society free from exploitation, deprivation, oppression, malnutrition, domination, starvation, where every individual will be able to get equal and rightful shares of the resources. JNUS regularly undertakes advocacy works, dialogues and promotes network building with the government, development partners, civil society, media, grassroots people and other relevant stakeholders. JNUS is searching for candidates to fill the role of Accounts and Finance officer who can perform for the Core Activities.
∎ Develop different types of monthly, quarterly and yearly Report and plan on Accounts and Finance Related Activities.
∎ Sound knowledge on GAAP and IFRS.
∎ Regular maintain and prepare Voucher and posting on Tally Accounting software.
∎ She or he will support to measure efficiency, effectiveness, impact and find out limitation, challenges and learning on Accounts and financial aspects.
∎ She or he will document the learning and best practices for use in the programme and future programme development with proper documentation and reporting.
∎ Prepare and submit report to the donor, partners related to progress and financial states.
∎ Visit working areas to monitor financial initiatives and provide information and support to the JNUS Management.
∎ Prepare Bank Reconciliation Report and bank management.
∎ Patty cash management and regular maintain the formats.
∎ Maintain All register related accounts & finance and any other related.
∎ Collaboration with Admin and HR sector and undertake relevant work.
∎ Implement/support project activities according to individual work plan and building on project set objectives in association with project team.
∎ Assist all types of financial report such as donor visit, Project proposal submission documentation, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, yearly report.
∎ She or he will work and reportable to Executive Director.
∎ To convey out any other duties and responsibilities as and when required and assigned by the authority.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ BDT 60000 (consolidated)
∎ As per organizational policy
