∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ 3 years working experience in the relevant field. Exposure in the field of HIV/AIDS would be an added advantage.
∎ Working in International NGO/ different donor organization would be preferred.
∎ This position requires experience in finance field particularly working with high risk population like MSM/Hijra.
∎ Properly maintain the project fund.
∎ Able to prepare the accurate financial reports, monitor the compliance the sub recipients cash transactions and advice accordingly if require.
∎ Make sure the payment to the vendor/ supplier maintaining all relevant approve documents. ·
∎ Ensuring the budgetary control make sure the financial expenditure analysis and the budget variances.
∎ Able to prepare weekly /monthly /quarterly reports and budget variance report as per project need.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist the Manager-F&A to prepare annual budget.
∎ Ensure to prepare DICs and Sub-DICs/Outlets visit plan and visit to Sub-Sub recipient’s office to provide support to Manager-Finance and Admin.
∎ Update plans in accordance with project field requirement and other factors in the planning cycle·
∎ Execute the current govt. Tax and VAT policies.
∎ Ensure to maintain properly necessary financial documents such as vouchers.
∎ Ensure to post all vouchers in software to maintain all books of accounts according to the guide line.
∎ Update financial documents on time.
∎ Ensure to prepare pay roll of all staff timely.
∎ Oriented DIC managers and Sub-DICs in-charge regarding budget line items and maintaining petty cash, cash book, vouchers and payment procedures.
∎ Provide appropriate and supportive feedback to DICs and Sub-DICs/Outletto ensure proper fund management.
∎ Assist personnel section in preserving staff recruitment documents according to the policy and guideline.
∎ Ensure staff benefits timely according to the policy and project agreement through proper documents such as appraisal and approval.
∎ F&A officer need to maintain vertical and horizontal relationship with other staff members of this project team·
∎ Assist Manager-F&A in maintaining liaison with donors- icddr,b and other. Perform other activities according to the need of Project:
∎ Additional reports as required by project.
∎ Assist Manager-F&A in conducting yearly audit of the project.         Introduce financial information system (FIS) with the concern persons.
∎ Job Context:
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer, and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Health Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 8 institutions and 17 projects. DAM Health Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Finance and Admin Officer of "Prioritized HIV Prevention and Treatment Services for Key Population in Bangladesh" (MSM), GC7 Project implemented by Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM), funded by Global fund and principal recipient by icddr’b.
∎ Job Responsibility:
∎ This is a full time position in this project and the major duties are mentioned as below:
∎ Planning and implementation:
∎ Assist the Manager-F&A to prepare annual budget.
∎ Ensure to prepare DICs and Sub-DICs/Outlets visit plan and visit to Sub-Sub recipient’s office to provide support to Manager-Finance and Admin.
∎ Update plans in accordance with project field requirement and other factors in the planning cycle·

∎ Ensure fundamental financial books of recording, supporting documentations and fund management:
∎ Ensure to maintain properly necessary financial documents such as vouchers.
∎ Ensure to post all vouchers in software to maintain all books of accounts according to the guide line.
∎ Update financial documents on time.
∎ Ensure to prepare pay roll of all staff timely.
∎ Ensure internal control of fund management:
∎ Oriented DIC managers and Sub-DICs in-charge regarding budget line items and maintaining petty cash, cash book, vouchers and payment procedures.
∎ Provide appropriate and supportive feedback to DICs and Sub-DICs/Outletto ensure proper fund management.
∎ Ensure administrative rules of projects:
∎ Assist personnel section in preserving staff recruitment documents according to the policy and guideline.
∎ Ensure staff benefits timely according to the policy and project agreement through proper documents such as appraisal and approval.
∎ Coordination with other staff of this project:
∎ F&A officer need to maintain vertical and horizontal relationship with other staff members of this project team·
∎ Assist Manager-F&A in maintaining liaison with donors- icddr,b and other.
∎ Perform other activities according to the need of Project:
