Job Context:
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Health and WASH Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 9 institutions and 15 donor funded projects.
∎ DAM Health & WASH Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Program Officer of GFATM funded "Prioritized HIV prevention and treatment services for key populations in Bangladesh" Program through Save the Children covering Bangladesh. It`s a Project Office or Regional Level based position.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Finance & Administration Officer, based in PMU of Project office based in Dhaka, will be responsible for all financial and administrative and HR matters of the project and will report to, and closely work with, the Finance Manager of the project & for HR matters will work with the support of Sr. HRO/AHRO, Health & WASH Sector, DAM. S/he will shoulder the overall responsibility for all aspects of financial management and control; effective financial reporting in a timely, accurate, relevant and informative manner; perform general administration duties, keeping up-to-date personnel files of the project employees, etc. He/she will remain responsible to support Finance Manager for playing efficient role safe guarding focal of the project.
∎ Prepare monthly salary sheet systematically
∎ Disburse petty cash to DIC/Outlet level
∎ Ensure DIC/Outlet Rent as agreement clause
∎ Small procurement for Project office stationery, logistics and cleaning items
∎ Liaising with DIC/Outlet coordinator for all financial matters
∎ Maintaining accounts by tally software as regularly posting
∎ Maintaining Fixed Asset register
∎ Maintaining stock register
∎ Update petty cash register
∎ Checking bill voucher before payment and present to approval authority for final approval
∎ Prepare monthly bank reconciliation
∎ Support to HR and Admin related works
∎ Prepare vat and tax payment statement monthly
∎ Comply with GF funded rules and regulations
∎ All bill voucher keeping accordingly as GF fund compliance
∎ Keeping electronics equipment which will be uses as project office, Dhaka
∎ Keep staff personnel file up-to-date always
∎ Letter incoming and outgoing register keeping
∎ Leave register checking and keep accordingly
∎ Bank statement file keeping accordingly
∎ Used and unused checked book custody with lock and key
∎ Others importance file keeping accordingly
∎ Maintain professional relation with DIC/outlet level staff and other stakeholder
∎ Ensure that each DIC/Outlet is properly preparing monthly requirement
∎ Ensure the budgetary control
∎ Communicate with Bank personnel particulars BFTN Issue
∎ Ensure administrative support to Technical Specialist - program; Technical Specialist - Training and Advocacy; Technical Specialist - M&E, and Finance Manager for organizing events/trainings, etc.
∎ Remain ready to work to respond to any natural disaster or emergency situation anywhere in Bangladesh
∎ Facilitate recruitment procedure with the support of Sr. HRO/AHRO.
∎ Report to safeguarding focal person for any allegation or concerns on the violation of the safe guarding policy in relation to project staffs, organizational staffs, vendors and volunteers is raised.
∎ Will support F&A Manager in relevant awareness building training/orientation as well as will cooperate and support for establishing the safe guarding mechanism with the organization and projects.
∎ Performs other assignments as suggested by the supervisor

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 27 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 5 years of experience in relevant fields.
∎ Ability to work independently and in a team.
∎ Strong organizational and financial management skills.
∎ Have good knowledge of Accounts and admin with update TDS/VAT regulations.
∎ Experience of donor supported Project.
∎ Good computer skills on Microsoft Office Tools, especially MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point.
∎ Work experience in the area of NGO Sector.
∎ TALLY ERP-9 accounting software generated experience.
∎ Applicants must have COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
∎ Age at most 45 years (Age may be considered for experienced candidate).

Salary:
∎ Tk. 36721 (Monthly)
∎ Other benefits will be added as per project provision.
