Job Context:
∎ Reporting to: Project Manager -SNSRC project
∎ Responsible for: Project Financial Management, Reporting and Coordination
∎ Location: BDRCS NHQ, Dhaka with frequent field visit
∎ Contract Period: 1 (one) Year with possibility of extension
∎ Job Purpose: The Finance, Admin and Logistic Officer (FALO) is responsible for ensuring SNSRC Projects financial record keeping, financial reporting and monitoring of the Project and fulfills all the reporting and other mandatory requirements to donors and other stakeholders in due time. The FALO is also expected to maintain a good working relationship with project team, BDRCS Unit, NHQ and SweRC

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for financial management of the SNSRC Program through computerised financial software
∎ To manage all bank transactions and prepare monthly reconciliation for all accounts.
∎ To ensure all expenses are justified with necessary supporting documentation according to BDRCS policies and procedures
∎ To ensure that payments are issued against invoices from suppliers, vendors and/or third parties on time (either in cheque or cash)
∎ Maintain petty cash as per organization's policy on petty cash management responsible for the programme bookkeeping in the Tally system and back up of data in regular basis.
∎ Day to day coordination with Jamalpur and Kurigram field office to ensure the synergy of financial management.
∎ Review and quality assure of the monthly and quarterly financial reports including checks of the supporting documents (monthly bank reconciliation statement, receipt and payment account, petty cash reconciliation, etc.).
∎ Budget analysis and burn rate calculation in monthly basis and inform BDRCS management and SweRC team
∎ To assist with the management of the funds and financial assets of the office (that include cash flow and cost control management as well as the management of the payments, advances, bank transaction and payroll functions, and maintenance of the accounting books/records/system in accordance with BDRCS guidelines).
∎ To compile of the project budget and financial plan, as per BDRCS financial procedures.
∎ To maintain accurate registers of the assets and property/stock of the program and ensure that accurate office systems are in place and maintained.
∎ To prepare accurate, regular, and timely financial and narrative reports for concerned authority.
∎ In close consultation with the project manager, monitor the programme budgets and ensure accurate accounting, authorization, and internal control procedures, identify, and address significant variances
∎ Comply with SRC’s specific financial conditions and SRC’s general conditions signed by BDRCS and SweRC- where applicable
∎ To provide technical support/training and advice to staff members in financial and administrative systems when needed.
∎ To conduct annual external audit, involve in hiring process of auditors and preparation of management response from observation found by auditors and provide SweRC signed audit report in due time.
∎ Manage admin relating to programme operations, meetings, trainings/workshop, events
∎ Manage admin relating to travel of staff and visitors: tickets, arranging transfer/fleet and accommodation arrangements, procuring items for project etc.
∎ Monitoring visit to field/unit office on financial and administrative issues.
∎ To perform any other duties assigned by the SNSRC project authority.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Person with additional experience on management of budgets; management of resources; monitoring; supervision and control; reporting; communication; networking; management of self; management of others will be given a priority.
∎ Advanced skills in computers (Windows, spreadsheets, word-processing and accounting packages-specifically Tally Software) and familiar with internet browsing, emails
∎ Ability to use manual accounting systems
∎ Ability to prepare budgets, cash flow statements & financial plans
∎ Analytical skills and ability to think strategically and should be proactive
∎ Able to plan and work independently with minimum or no supervision
∎ Able to influence, communicate, co-operate and negotiate with a wide range of people and organisations
∎ Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
∎ Ability to manage multiple and complex tasks
∎ Proven professionalism and ability to work independently
∎ Fluent in English and ability in good English writing
∎ Familiar with email correspondences, internet browsing
∎ Commitment to the Red Cross and Red Crescent principles and values
∎ Honest and high level of integrity
∎ Willing to work for vulnerable and people in need
∎ Regular travel to field office

Salary: Tk. 50000 (Monthly)
