Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead all program activities within an assigned region and function as the Field Team Leader, under the supervision of the Team Leader;
∎ Lead and manage the field-based market-led intervention such as business capacity development training and various linkage sessions through process monitoring;
∎ Maintain close contact and communication for project planning, strategy formulation and other issues with Dhaka Technical team and partners, counterparts, service providers, government, the private sector, and project participants;
∎ Prepare and manage and required MOUs with key partner stakeholders at the regional level for sustainability and scalability;
∎ Supervise and build the capacity of the all field staff in the region as described in the organograms;
∎ Operate as a regional iDE contact person for institutional iDE requirements, roll-outs, security and coordination
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5-7 years of experience working on market system development or another relevant field including a minimum of 5 years in a managerial position and lead project implementation, familiarity with Home Textiles and Jute Diversified Products sector preferred
∎ Familiarity and experience with project management concepts such as Logical Frameworks, Impact Logic or Results Chains
∎ Considerable understanding and knowledge of rural markets, trading relationships and rural service provision
∎ Understands the facilitative role and local market development approach
∎ Experience of value chain approaches, market development and deep dive research
∎ Ability to plan and implemented iterative field level activities for market systems change (looking beyond the Detail Implementation Plan)
∎ Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
∎ Ability to work with various national and international team members and flexibility to adapt to different work conditions
∎ Ability to interact and collaborate with a broad range of public and private sector and NGO partners
∎ Ability to travel and undertake fieldwork in rural contexts
∎ Ability to drive motorcycles and having a valid driving license
∎ Written and oral communication skills in English, including the ability to present coherent and convincing messages to different audiences
∎ Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, email and the internet and Google Apps
∎ The position would be the regular employment of iDE-B
∎ The remuneration package, work days and deliverables might be change based on negotiation between iDE management and the contract
∎ iDE reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time with the consultation of the employee as per HR policy
∎ As an FTL under Operation Directorate, it is duty and accountability of the FTL to ensure the confidentiality of certain issues. The FTL must maintain full confidentiality for sharing information, documents and other issues with others.
