Job Context:
∎ Looking for Field Organizer (Grade: 16).
∎ Duty Station: 256 BRDB Upazila Offices (Upazilla Project Office)
∎ Project Reference: Poverty Reduction through Production and Marketing of High Valued Nutritional Minor Crops Program, BRDB under the Ministry of LGRD & Cooperative.
∎ Duration of Employment: December 2023
∎ Project Purpose: The main objective of the project is to increase the production of minor crops of pulses, oil, spices in the project area and improve the quality of life of the poor people in the rural areas and reduce the dependence on import of minor crops.
∎ Organizational arrangement: The firm will provide support services to the project under the direct supervision and condition of the Project Director.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ He/she will work under the direction of the PD.
∎ He/She will be accountable to URDO, minor crop specialist, crop development officer, crop production specialist and finally to the PD.
∎ He/she will organize all activities at the field level, such as team formation, collection of savings, weekly team visits, assistance in setting up Demonstration plots, training schedule with trainers and trainees.
∎ In addition, he/she will establish close relationships with the team members to increase the production of minor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have practical work experience in field work in related works.
