∎ Project Context: Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK): Lead Organization (ASK) is one of the leading human rights and legal aid organizations in Bangladesh. Since its inception ASK has been working for the protection and promotion of human rights (HR) of vulnerable communities, gender and social justice through community activism, social mobilization, capacity building, legal services, advocacy and policy intervention. ASK takes a comprehensive and holistic approach to the promotion and protection of human rights in particular of women, children and other groups, through mediation, litigation, shelter and psycho-social counseling, monitoring and investigating human rights violations, media campaigns and public interest litigation for law and policy reform.
∎ Purpose of the position: This position is responsible for Develop and facilitate cultural exchange awareness sessions to community level, maintain the Women Group and technical support to capacity building of Women leaders. She will be formed Women Group, Umbrella Network. Conduct Women group meeting, sessions design, implementation of appropriate activities and events, and raise awareness Interact with other organizations. Also requites, collection case story, good practices, beneficiaries` quotation`s, programm picture, video, documentary etc. and regularly shared.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Women Maitree Group Formation (Host & Camp).
∎ Conducting issue based session with project participants and community leader,
∎ Formed & managing Umbrella networking committee.
∎ Organize training sessions, workshop, umbrella meeting, Monthly women group meeting regularly.
∎ Managing volunteer and also conduct session for volunteer.
∎ Good understanding on GVB, cases management, referral pathways.
∎ Works with paralegal lawyer and community women leader
∎ Conducts rapid needs assessments
∎ Work under the supervision of Senior Program Officer (SPO) and collaborate with other teams members.
∎ Prepare work plan and progress report (weekly, monthly, quarterly and Annual)
∎ Regularly collect project best practices, photo, case story, updates data of the project activities;
∎ Event report tasks and issues to management as needed.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of PSEA, safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Perform other duties as required
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ 02 years working experience on community organizer/ Field organizer in the humanitarian crisis field in Cox's Bazar.
∎ Previous work experience in refugee camps
∎ Previous work experience in emergency settings
∎ Experience in working with multi-disciplinary team in a cross-culture setting.
∎ Strong Sound knowledge on Social cohesion, peach building,
∎ Strong Sound knowledge on case management at Rohingya context.
∎ Knowledge of humanitarian principles, standards and system
∎ Teamwork spirit and community mobilization skills
∎ Good communication skills.
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook etc).
∎ Management and leadership skills.
∎ Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
∎ Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Salary: Tk. 36000 (Monthly)
