Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Mobilize people and sell eyeglasses by conducting Eye Screening Camps for correcting presbyopia and referring people with other than presbyopia for better treatment.
∎ Implement the project activities including eye screening, awareness campaigns, and training programs in collaboration with the Area Manager
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with communities and local leaders to foster trust and participation in eye screening activities.
∎ Prepare timely quality reports on programme performance and ensure digital data management through the m-Health system
∎ Ensure the implementation process at the field level with appropriate supply chain, inventory, bookkeeping and financial management. Safeguarding Responsibilities
∎ Ensure the safety of programme participants, people who come in to the contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

∎ The Reading Glasses for Improved Livelihoods (RGIL) Project provides vision screening and affordable reading glasses to adults aged 35 and above, especially in rural areas, to address presbyopia, enhance productivity, support livelihoods, and refer individuals with other eye issues for further care.
