Job Context:
∎ Caritas Bangladesh (CB) is a national and non-profit development organization operating in Bangladesh
∎ since 1967. It has its Central Office in Dhaka and eight Regional Offices (Barishal, Chattogram, Dhaka,
∎ Dinajpur, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rajshahi and Sylhet Region). CB is implementing 89 on-going projects
∎ covering 189 Upazilas focusing on six main priorities i.e i) Social Welfare for Vulnerable Communities
∎ (SWVC), ii) Education and Child Development, iii) Nutrition and Health Education, iv) Disaster
∎ Management, v) Ecological Conservation and Food Security (ECFS), and vi) Development of Indigenous
∎ Peoples.
∎ Caritas Bangladesh (CB), Cox’s Bazar office is looking for suitable candidate for an immediate
∎ appointment as well as to prepare a panel list for Emergency Response to the Forcibly Displaced
∎ Myanmar Nationals (FDMN) in Bangladesh.

∎ Position : Field Officer
∎ No of Position : 5 (Three Female and Two Male – may be changed as per need)
∎ Age : Min 25 to Maximum 40 years (as on 31.5.2022) – Flexible for the experienced.
∎ Job Location : Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar.
∎ Job Nature : Temporary
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Mobilization of the community in the IDB center/library centre, in outdoor space or in shelter.
∎ Facilitation of different sessions, activities, courses incorporating digital tools and contents.
∎ Develop lesson plan, session guide for conducting centre-based and outreach sessions, activities, and courses.
∎ Address the different public’s needs and expectations and contribute to the design of activities and courses.
∎ In collaboration with Project Coordinator and other Field Officers, identify priorities of the month and create the schedule off activities.
∎ Mobilization and supervision of Community Volunteers (Rohingya female and male) and assist the Project Coordinator in building capacity of Community Volunteers.
∎ Participate in all kinds of capacity building initiatives has taken by the organization, receive and use the learnings, skills in delivery of project activities.
∎ Plan activities, set up the space and welcome users.
∎ Guide the audience in the use of digital tools and different resources of the Ideas Box.
∎ Share feedback on contents and activities and suggest improvements.
∎ Report on implemented activities, collect and share key data on activities/courses.
∎ Ensure daily management of the box (roll-out, tidying, handling, organization).
∎ Ensure the security of audience, activities, and equipment within the Ideas Box space and during outreach activities.
∎ Document mediation in the Ideas Box and share good practices in the Ideas Box community of practice.
∎ Perform any other duties/responsibilities as assigned by the authority of Caritas Bangladesh.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At Least 2 Years working experience in development agency in the field of education, in similar position.
∎ Knowledge and skills in conduction of class/session for Rohingya adolescent & youth and on facilitation techniques.
∎ Good interpersonal skill, useful in advocacy and positive approaching.
∎ URGENT EMPLOYMENT NOTICE
∎ Experience in a camp or refugee context will be appreciated.
∎ Specific skills in theatre, art, music and books will be appreciated.
∎ Proficiency in Rohingya/chittagonian dialect is preferred.
∎ Handling and working with digital tools such as tablets, computers, camera, and tape-recorder.
∎ Networking and a good relationship with everyone
∎ Good knowledge in MS Office is mandatory and any other relevant software
∎ Excellent communication skills and Problem-solving skills
∎ Ability to formulate IM related technical requirements and operating procedures
∎ Good Report Writing skill.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
Salary:
∎ Consolidated Salary : Tk. 50,000/- per month
