Job Context:
∎ Stichting Land Ontwikkelings Project Bangladesh (in short SLOPB Bangladesh) is a nongovernment organization working in the coastal belt of Bangladesh since 1995 with greater passion and enthusiasm for sustainable development of the community living in the coastal area of Bangladesh. Currently SLOPB invites applications from qualified and experienced person in the position of Field Monitoring Officer for the Max Foundation supported Max Nutri Wash Project that is being implemented at Rangabali Upazila of Patuakhali District in Barishal Division.
∎ Job Location: Rangabali Upazila of Patuakhali district under Barishal division.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Programmatic
∎ Overall Field Activities monitoring
∎ Assist Project Manager (PM) to develop project implementation plan (PIP) and implement modalities in close collaboration with the staff and other projects within the organization
∎ Assist PM to lead the unit team to carry out the planned activities effectively to contribute to achieve the project target.
∎ Prepare training module, schedule, and conduct training as per plan and budget.
∎ Provide technical supports to the field staff for performing their roles in effective manner.
∎ Attend project's monthly / quarterly progress review meeting.
∎ Assist PM to prepare the project's report
∎ Ensure the technical input for the field staff to use the monitoring tools for collecting data/information related to the project activities are kept for further use.
∎ Facilitate trainings, orientations, meetings, and discussions in line with the project plan and follow up the progress accordingly.
∎ Regular meeting with ANC, PNC, Counselors, CSGs, Community Leaders, LGIs for collecting data/information to determine the progress and making further recommendation for corrective measures in implementing activities.
∎ Develop tools / techniques for quality monitoring of the activities for measuring progress.
∎ Analyze the available data/information for presenting the outcomes of the project and determine the impact towards the objectives.
∎ Prepare written reports, case studies, meeting minutes, and project-related other correspondence for internal and external distribution.
∎ Monitor project outcomes and prepare reports as required.
∎ Generate and present reports using standard formats and graphical summaries as required to present the project to external stakeholders.
∎ Maintain regular communication with Regional Manager, Max Foundation, MEL Officer-Max Foundation, Executive Director and Program Director of SLOPB Bangladesh to review activities.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Minimum 3 years working experience in the related field.
∎ IT Skill: High level of IT skills especially in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Power Point, SPSS etc.
∎ Excellent skill in writing and oral communication in English and Bengali.
∎ Experience of working in Nutrition WASH and Hygiene related project.
∎ Excellent knowledge on WASH, Hygiene & Sanitation related Policies and Acts.
∎ Experience in Governance Monitoring Tools.
Salary:
∎ Gross Starting Salary: TK. 33,200 (with other benefit as per budgetary provision).
