Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Collect, analyse, and consolidate data from respective blocks and submit Technical Officer-Shelter.
∎ Oversee the distribution of shelter materials by coordinating token distribution to selected households (HHs) and ensuring efficient material distribution at the distribution point.
∎ Assist in field-level distribution of shelter materials, using master rolls and ensure proper documentation of all distributed items.
∎ Provide support to beneficiaries in constructing their shelters, ensuring adherence to shelter performance standards and quality benchmarks.
∎ Collaborate closely with the Technical Officer-Shelter in vulnerable household identification, and conduct assessments of Shelter and Site Improvement interventions, using established formats. Work with Mahjis, Site Management Sector (SMS), and CiC officials to identify areas for improvement.
∎ Labour sourcing and engagement, including scheduling and monitoring daily attendance. Support the Technical Officer in managing labour resources.
∎ Counting and storage of materials at the warehouse, collaborating with the APO Supply Chain Officer to ensure accurate tracking and documentation at both the warehouse and distribution points.
∎ Provide support during any type of disaster or emergency response, collaborating with block-level volunteers to ensure swift and effective interventions.
∎ Follow the organization's Code of Conduct, making sure all team members act ethically, support gender equality, and treat everyone with respect.
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
