∎ BRAC’s values and mission, humanitarian and development sector, local refugee context to identify risks/threats, Basic computer knowledge on MS office applications including Civil engineering software (Essential).
∎ Budgeting, communication, writing, monitoring and supervision, activities implementation.
∎ Facilitating group meetings, managing timelines, oral and written fluency in both Bangla and English, handling critical issues with relevant stakeholders

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Mobilize local communities to actively participate in the project, with a focus on raising awareness about environmental sustainability, natural resource conservation, and climate resilience.
∎ Manage Attendance and mobilize beneficiaries for NRM activities.
∎ Oversee the materials on the site and manage the materials database in the assigned camp.
∎ Assist in data collection related to community needs, natural resource use, and environmental challenges, as part of regular field assessments.
∎ Provide support for Cash for Work (CFW) activities, including assisting with the mobilization of community members to participate in these labor-intensive activities.
∎ Promote the use of locally available materials and techniques to ensure that NRM interventions are practical and effective in the local context.
∎ Collaborate closely with local authorities, community leaders, site management teams, and other humanitarian partners to ensure the successful integration of NRM activities with broader community initiatives.
∎ Provide support to the community during emergency situations, such as floods or other natural disasters, by assisting with disaster response activities, temporary shelters, and environmental risk mitigation measures.
∎ Mobilize local resources to support recovery efforts and promote community-based resilience strategies.
∎ Provide regular reports on field activities to the Project Manager and other relevant stakeholders, highlighting successes, challenges, and community feedback.
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ The Field Facilitator will support the implementation of NRM activities within the project’s target communities. The role will involve direct interaction with communities to promote active participation and ensure that the project’s activities are culturally sensitive, inclusive, and effective.
