Experience:
Minimum Bachelor Degree.
This positions are required for ensuring initiation and quality of field activities.
Proven skill and competencies in Youth and adolescent club formation, running the clubs with multidimensional activities.
The applicant should have computer skill on MS word and Excel.
Experience on PRA, networking/linkage/collaboration with union/upazila level administration and like-minded organizations.
Should have valid Motor bike driving license and willing to drive motor cycle.
Willing to stay at union/upazila level with frequent visit to the remote areas.
Candidate should have a good knowledge on safeguarding (Child Protection, Gender & Anti sexual harassment).

Mahideb Jubo Somaj Kallayan Somity in the northern Bangladesh. As a non-profit making organization, it has been registered with Social Welfare Department, Registration no.70/1974 and NGO Affairs Bureau of government of Bangladesh, vide registration no. 447/1991. Since 1972, the organization has been serving the poor and extreme poor with special focus on the char (River Island) and attached char inhabitants (men, women, youth, children and adolescents) in different areas through several program initiatives. At present, MJSKS has been working in Kurigram, Rangpur and Lalmonirhat district. MJSKS has been implementing various types of projects in the field of livelihood development, human rights, women empowerment, youth employability and engagement, adolescent development, gender equality, quality education for children, water and sanitation, health, hygiene & nutrition, Humanitarian Assistance in disaster and climate change adaptation. Sustainable development for the poorest through ensuring peoples participation is the key approach of its work.
Mahideb Jubo Somaj Kallayan Somity (MJSKS) in collaboration with Plan International Bangladesh has been Implementing NRK Telethon – Child, Not Bride (NRK-CNB) – Bangladesh project that aims to reduce the Early Child and Forced Marriage- CEFM in Bangladesh, and the target district is Kurigram in particular. The integrated project will work in the areas of youth governance, sexual reproductive health and rights, CEFM system strengthening & amp; monitoring and girls’ economic empowerment that will ultimately contribute to combating early and forced marriage. Through this project, the girls and young women along with the boys and young men will be empowered to drive a systemic change for achieving gender equality and promoting an enabling environment for youth, especially for girls and young women to build their future aspirations and make decisions. The project will be implemented from January 2022 to December 2025.
MJSKS is looking for a qualified Field Facilitator for the said project.
Job Nature: Full-time up to the project period based on performance
Job location: 3 Upazilas namely Bhurangamari, Nageswari and Fulbari (Union Based) under Kurigram district.
Reporting: Project Coordinator
Responsibilities:
Making volunteerism and sensitivity towards the community among the youth and adolescent.
Knowledge on different survey, data collection and conduction of PRA.
Facilitate family development plan, business plan and individual action plan.
Facilitate training for youth on agriculture production/quick income earning (crop/livestock/poultry birds).
Facilitate training for the girls/project target people on work readiness and basic life skills for ICT job.
Identify eligible parents and develop them as champion fathers & mothers.
Linkage with local market actors (input seller, buyer, middle man, collector, market committee) and Micro Finance Institutions.
Transfer of productive capital through online/mobile banking system.
Meeting with Government offices to claim extension services like; agriculture, livestock, youth development, women affairs, BRDB etc.
They should have knowledge on Gender mainstreaming, human rights and inclusion.
The candidate should have experience on Youth skill development and employment in a rural context.
Proper documentation; regular home visits, dialogue with community, providing technical support to stakeholder and ensuring community participation and engagement with the clubs for community development related activities.
Possibility of yearly salary increment 5-10% with yearly 01 month gross salary as festival bonus.
Organization can split the bonus according to organization policy.
