Experience:
Required Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree (HSC/Diploma with relevant experience may be considered) in Social Science, Development Studies or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in community mobilization or field-level implementation, preferably in shelter/site improvement.
• Experience working in the Rohingya camps is preferred.
• Good command of Bangla; knowledge of Chattogram dialect or Rohingya language is an advantage.
Key Skills and Competencies
• Good communication, facilitation and community engagement skills.
• Ability to supervise volunteers and manage field activities.
• Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
• Sensitivity to gender, protection and safeguarding issues; good command of Bangla.
Other Requirements
• Adhere to the GUSS Code of Conduct, safeguarding and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policies.
• Willingness to work in the camp environment and to travel as needed. Women candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Language
• Reading and writing in Bangla fluently.
• Speaking fluently in Rohingya or Chittagongian language.
Working Hours
• 6 hours daily (Saturday to Thursday)

Position Summary
The Field Facilitator supports day-to-day implementation of shelter activities at camp level. S/he engages with communities, supports beneficiary selection and verification, and monitors shelter and site improvement activities on the ground.
Key Responsibilities
• Engage with communities and support community mobilization for shelter and site improvement activities.
• Support beneficiary selection, verification and household assessments.
• Supervise community mobilizers and volunteers.
• Monitor Cash for Work labor attendance and activities.
• Coordinate with Camp Majhis, community leaders and beneficiaries.
• Support field-level accountability and ensure proper use of shelter materials.
• Maintain documentation and report progress and challenges to the Site Engineer in a timely manner.
