∎ Mahideb Jubo Somaj Kallayan Somity (MJSKS) is a non-governmental; non-political and non-profitable community development organization. MJSKS is going to implement Community-based Resilience, Women`s Empowerment and Action (CREA) project supported by Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF). The project will build resilience towards climate change impacts; build resistance against domestic violence and child marriage; empower vulnerable communities especially women and girls, to address the socio-economic effects of climate change.
∎ The 5 outcomes of the project are:
∎ 1. Service providers both public and local government institutions are responsive, and increased access to the quality services of community specially women & girls.
∎ 2. Improved resilience of the most vulnerable char and attached char communities to climate change impact
∎ 3. Empowered women and girls are dealing with inequality, social injustice, violence incidences and participated in voice raising and protests.
∎ 4. Strong voices and decisions are in place against DVAW and child marriage. Decrease in rate of child marriage and DVAW in the selected climate vulnerable areas.
∎ 5. Risks related to poverty will be decreased with increased family income and alternative livelihoods options.
∎ To achieve above mentioned outcomes MJSKS is inviting applications from the interested qualified candidates for the position.
∎ Job Nature: Full-time, up to project period and based on performance.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Selection of project participants following the specified selection criteria.
∎ Providing opportunities for participants to learn about gender-based violence, climate change effect through issue base awareness session, Meeting and training activities.
∎ Develop project participants ability to raising voice to have capacities to address Gender based Violence and Responsiveness of public Institutions which are related to violence of women rights due to climate change effect.
∎ Identify the knowledge and education gap on women rights, gender-based violence issues.
∎ Prepare awareness session plan based on the knowledge and practice gap.
∎ Formation the women, men and youth & adolescent group focused on poor and marginalized.
∎ Conduct regular session/meeting with the Climate Action Group (CAG)
∎ Regular meeting with civil society, NNPC and legal aid committee.
∎ Facilitate the participant's and analyzing their learning and planning new activities.
∎ Mobilization of community people and mass awareness program.
∎ Organize Training/Workshop with different stakeholders.
∎ Assist to youth and civil society for shalish of victim woman and girls.
∎ Ensure the legal aid and medical support for VAW&G victims.
∎ Fulfill project specific reporting requirements and networking with local elite and UP.
∎ Provide necessary written quantitative and qualitative data/ information including field observation for preparing reports.
∎ Maintain effective liaison with local elite and youth.
∎ Prepare monthly report and submit to Project Officer (PO).

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 3-5 years' working experience in any National/International NGO, experience in similar position, particularly in Women Empowerment, Disaster Management, Climate Change and Resilience project.
∎ Candidate should have a good knowledge on safe guarding (Child Protection, Gender & Anti sexual harassment) issue. Should have valid Motor bike driving license. Candidate should have to mention their personal email address, mobile phone & Skype ID in the CV.

Salary:
∎ Salary: Monthly gross salary BDT-19,685/-.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ One festival bonus equivalent to 1 month gross salary for each year. 5% salary increment (based on gross salary) in each year as per performance appraisal. Other admissible benefit as per MJSKS policy which is mentioned in the project budget.
