∎ Project Name: EVOLVE: Enhance Voice for the Inclusion of the Vulnerable and their Empowerment
∎ We are looking for a self-driven and professional NGO personnel with commitment to work and target groups.
∎ Work Location: Any Upazila of Khulna or Bagerhat district.
∎ Reporting to: Project Co-ordinator.
∎ Contract Duration: From October 2022 to March 2025
∎ About EVOLVE Project:
∎ Enhance Voice for the Inclusion of the Vulnerable and their Empowerment (EVOLVE) is designed to facilitate inclusive dialogue and partnerships among CSOs, CSO networks and Union Parishads (UPs) in participatory planning, budgeting, execution, and accountability towards climate smart and gender responsive strategies and services. EVOLVE aims to build the capacity of CSOs and their networks to empower climate affected communities and disadvantaged women in selected 14 UPs of the specific three Upazilas of Khulna and Bagerhat districts. EVOLVE is Co-funded by the European Union and implementing by the Development Organization of the Rural Poor (DORP) and Center for Natural Resource Studies (CNRS) in the project locations coordinating by HELVETAS Bangladesh.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordination and Communication skill.
∎ Closely work with Union level CSOs and ward level CBOs to raise the voice of women and disadvantaged groups.
∎ Liaison and coordination with Union and Upazila Networks, local government officials and implementing partner.
∎ Assist Project Coordinator to prepare the monthly, quarterly and yearly Annual Implementation Plan (AIP)/work plan/Activity Plan.
∎ Develop Modules and provide technical support to the project Coordinator for implementing capacity building activities for CSOs, CBOs, CSO Networks, Union Parishad and other stakeholders of the project.
∎ Any other activities where and when as required by Authority.
∎ Participate in team meeting and management meeting in the field office regularly.
∎ Prepare and submit reports to Project Coordinator in timely manner.
∎ Fair knowledge on Governance and Climate Change.
∎ Participate and organize training and workshop as per project activities.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ At least 5 year(s) in development sectors/National NGOs.
∎ Must have experience working with local government institute.
∎ Minimum 3 years’ experience as Field Facilitator
∎ Working experience in local government Institution will get priority.
∎ Understanding of WASH and Climate Change related Project will be an added value for the post.
∎ Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
∎ Working experience in coastal areas particularly in South-West of Bangladesh.
∎ Working on under pressure in any time.
∎ Must have experience to develop Module on capacity building.
∎ Have ability to conduct community training effectively
∎ Motorcycle driving skill with valid driving license
Salary:
∎ Tk 26695 (Monthly, including all benefits)
