Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Field Facilitator is responsible to implement activities at the field level as per project plan.
∎ Formation of Disaster management committee and Flood Volunteer Group.
∎ Facilitate PDRA at community level to develop community action plan for disaster risk reduction.
∎ Keep close relationship with community people as well as both Ward and Union DMC along with maintain communication, coordination and liaison with LGIs, NGOs, private sector & relevant stakeholders.
∎ Report to Project Manager /Project In charge
∎ The Field Facilitator is responsible to implement activities at the field level as per project plan.
∎ S/he is responsible to mobilize grassroots people, conducting community situation analysis and sessions, organize a mass campaign, conducting courtyard meeting and building capacity of the beneficiary.
∎ The Field Facilitator is responsible for organizing training for community, implementation of project activities including: adequate supports to the target communities; organizing meeting, communicating with target households/communities; assist in preparing budget; assist in organizing workshop, seminar, meeting for program and target beneficiaries and others, observance of days;
∎ Assist Project In charge/Manager to develop report, data, and other relevant information as and when required;
∎ Working for capacity building of target households, community leaders, LGIs etc. on mobilization, knowledge development and information dissemination;
∎ Submit monthly work plan, reports and monitoring reports;
∎ Assist the Project In Charge/Manager in documentation; and establishing and maintaining liaison and network including community, LGIs, Union/Upazila level government departments, other organizations and stakeholders;
∎ Undertake other duties as per requirements of the project
∎ Graduate in any discipline (Preferably Master’s degree).
∎ Minimum 1 years of relevant experience or Working in disaster risk.
∎ Computer skills with typing skill both in Bangla and English language will give extra advantage.
∎ Good language skill in BanglaØ Good inter personal skills.
