• Knowledge on implementing livelihood and climate change project

• Adequate level of computer and IT skill

• Able to conduct PRA, Community mobilization and assets transfer

• Able to work under pressure and get things done in time

• Able to drive motorcycle and should have valid driving license

• Willingly stay and move in coastal area

Agrogoti Sangstha is looking for a dynamic Field Facilitator (FF) for its’ livelihood project titled ‘Promoting resilience in households and communities vulnerable to climate change in Satkhira’ supported by Federal Ministry for Economic (Germany) Affairs and Climate Action through GIZ .

About the Project: Agrogoti Sangstha is going to implement the Climate Adaptive livelihood and Climate Smart Agriculture focused project in coastal area at Satkhira District especially Shymnagor, Kaligonj and Assasuni upazila. The Project will support 720 Climate vulnerable families especially women and the families will be capacities by receiving different types of capacity building training and developing BDP and FDP in individual level.

Side by side, the project will be formed 36 village groups and engaged the youth participants in the project activity for building climate resilient community.

The details eligibility and requirement of the position is as mentioned below.

Work Station: Shymnagor, Kaligonj and Assasuni Upazila under Satkhira District along with frequent field visit

Responsibilities :

• Selection of group members at village level and formation of groups and Village groups

• Support group members for formulation of Family Development Plan (FDP) and Business Development Plan (BDP)

• Assist in acquisition of productive assets.

• Resource mobilization and proper distribution of assets through purchasing assets following policy.

• Organising and conducting trainings on income generating activities, health and hygiene

• Provide technical support to the targeted households to increase income and production;

• Conduct weekly group meetings at village level, monthly CSO meeting at union level

• Collecting weekly savings, documentation, regular home visits, dialogue with local authorities, supporting animal health workers

• Sensitising group members on climate change and its impacts

• Providing technical support to disaster workers

• Ensuring pandemic-related safeguards at meetings.

• To prepare periodic report

• Salary: 210 Euro (Approximately BDT 28000-29000) per month and other benefits as per organization policy
