∎ JOB PURPOSE:
∎ To provide technical support for the installation of deep tube-well with piped network, community latrine and school latrine, drainage system, Waste bins construction along with other water and sanitation technology.
∎ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ • Assist for drawings & specifications in preparation of subcontractor scope. Identify and support imlementation of demand based (Urban) WASH/infrastructure technologies and interventions
∎ • Keep information flow smoothly through involving the regional coordinator and ensure the smooth communication for any related issue.
∎ • Involve in the selection of appropriate sites for construction of facilities
∎ • Ensure quality control of the infrastructure development related work (budget, estimate, schedule, plans, worker’s performance) and report regularly on project status. Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
∎ • Interact daily with the clients ( meson, worker, CDO members) to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
∎ • Check the work done by the contractors and recommend for any modifications (if required).
∎ • Assist the project team in testing necessary samples for checking and ensuring quality.
∎ • Assist to make purchase requirement to the management to ensure availability of service.
∎ • Keep the record of the project document and any other related documents.
∎ • Prepare monthly progress reports.
∎ • Participate in workshops and trainings in WASH for acquired knowledge and skills.
∎ • Perform any task assigns by your supervisors.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
