Job Context:
∎ SAJDA Foundation is seeking a Field Coordinator for its PROSHOMON Project based in Feni, Bangladesh. The project will focus to improve the health and nutrition status of the extreme poor by increasing accessibility, coverage, comprehensiveness and sustainability of existing primary health and nutrition services. The project will contribute in the government commitments to reach SDGs target by increasing the coverage of Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in the urban area of Bangladesh. Ensure better accessibility of the urban extreme poor segment by using technology and innovation in health financing scheme in the focus of this project.
∎ The Field Coordinator is a management level position responsible for smooth materialization of planning activities. S/he will lead the team and oversee the project work in targeted municipalities and will closely work with Sajida Foundation and CWW to implement SMART Card based urban health voucher scheme project.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop detail project plan with a year wise breakdown in their municipal area for health/nutrition activities.
∎ Will provide supervision to key staff who will be responsible for implementing the various components of this project and work closely with the Head of the Project.
∎ Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project as required.
∎ Arrange and conduct training for project staff
∎ Plan and monitor all field activities (i.e. Appointments, meetings, cash/voucher distribution, monitoring and beneficiary follow-ups).
∎ Maintain liaison where studies are stakeholders including government, NGO and private sectors and also with empanelled hospital authorities
∎ Work closely with the Project Head and SAJIDA Administration Department to ensure timely procurement and delivery of project resources. Ensure accurate paperwork for processing.
∎ Support the team to enable them to give their best by encouraging, coaching, assisting to resolve and/or prevent problems, providing resources, tools and equipment.
∎ Develop guidelines for implementation of the project.
∎ Make a plan for training project staff for implantation of the plan as per the guidelines.
∎ Review and revise the guidelines based on the experience gained during implementation and the feedback from implementer and stakeholder.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum of 8 years experience in the area of community-based health programme planning, management and implementation, monitoring, capacity building with at least 3 years of working experience of senior management level.
∎ Proven experience of leading and managing large primary health care project.
∎ Experience of working with different level stakeholders including government, municipalities, NGOs and donors.
∎ Experience of working on Urban Health project/programme preferred
