Experience:

• 2 to 5 years

• Diploma in Agriculture/B.Sc. in Agriculture/Botany.

• 2 to 5 years

• 2-5 years in potato contract farming.
• Candidates with prior experience in potato cultivation or agronomy are strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective engagement with farmers and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic agricultural environment.
• Proficiency in computer applications for data management and reporting is desirable.
• Applicant should have a personal Motorbike.

Responsibilities:

• Select suitable potato production blocks based on land quality, irrigation, and drainage systems.

• Identify and engage actual farmers for potato cultivation.

• Prepare reports and submit them to the supervisor in a timely manner.

• Organize farmer meetings and finalize agreements with contract growers.

• Ensure timely distribution of inputs such as seeds, fertilizer, and pesticides to contract growers.

• Conduct regular field visits and provide technical support to contract growers.

• Ensure the quality of potato production by contract growers.

• Oversee product collection and storage operations smoothly.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date data on farmers, land, and crops.

• MIS on competitive activities.

• Driving the sustainability agenda of the company.

• Trial designing, execution and data keeping.

• Undertake any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
