Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Skills Required: Excellent Microsoft Office skills, Microsoft word and excel
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Developing a course outline and lesson plans that meet program and industry requirements as well as reflect our organization's brand and approach to learning.
∎ Presenting lesson plans on scheduled class days in an engaging and well communicated manner.
∎ Supporting various learning styles by providing several strategies for consuming the same content (ex: slides, lecturing, videos, and readings).
∎ Giving students additional support and guidance when asked, or as you see a need.
∎ Assessing students fairly on course material, projects, exams, and other objectives according to pre-established assessment methods.
∎ Providing students with access to assessment method guides/rubrics before and after assessments as well as constructive feedback when needed.
∎ Adjusting course outlines on an annual basis to ensure information is up-to-date and relevant.
∎ Staying up-to-date on trends and changes in the industry/field through personal research as well as attending seminars, conferences, etc.
∎ Other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 22 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing.
∎ Proven organizational and time management skills.
∎ Ability to develop innovative curriculum in line with course objectives.
∎ Ability to relate to rural project participants with diverse backgrounds.
∎ Ability to motivate students toward academic endeavors.
