Educational Requirements:
∎ Required Educational Qualification and Experience:
∎ Post graduate from any discipline. Preferable- social science, arts, science and agriculture from a reputed university or diploma in agriculture from a reputed institution.
∎ Minimum 2 year working experience in national or international development organization. Professionals having considerable experience and competencies on livelihood, food security and agriculture development will be given preference.

Job Context:
∎ WAVE Foundation, a civil society organization implements diversified activities under 3Major Domains- Democratic Governance; Sustainable Livelihood; and Social Development & Community Resilience. (www.wavefoundationbd.org). WAVE seeks application from interested Youths for its International Professional Exchange Program supported by Norwegian Agency for Exchange Cooperation-NOREC that former known as Fredskorpset/FK Norway (https://www.norec.no/en/home/). Through this exchange program, selected participants will get opportunity to attain knowledge, skill and leadership on facilitating `Farmer Producers Organizations-FPOs` from DHAN Foundation India (http://dhan.org/) and replicate the learning at WAVE Foundation.
∎ Relationships: Selected Professionals will be closely guided and mentored by DHAN as well as WAVE in different stages during carrying out their responsibilities. Professionals will report to the Mentor. S/He has to maintain functional relationship with peers and greater programme team.
∎ Location: DHAN Foundation, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work in line with the aims and objectives of the exchange and with the participant agreement to achieve the project outcomes.
∎ Work in harmony with the values of NOREC (FK Norway), WAVE Foundation and DHAN Foundation.
∎ Prepare and submit the report in regular interval on project activities
∎ Engage in regular planning and implementation activities on FPOs.
∎ Develop a manual including module on FPOs formation and operation.
∎ Prepare case studies and articles on the unique features and best practices.
∎ Finalize the follow-up action plan before departure.
∎ Lead follow up activities and different learning sharing events with WAVE management, staff and stakeholders after returning.
∎ Replicate learning on FPOs at WAVE Foundation
∎ Individual competence development

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Technical Requirements:
∎ Candidates must have a valid passport
∎ Capable of preparing good quality reports and presentation in English
∎ Good communication (oral & written) skill in English
∎ Good computer skills
∎ Desirable:
∎ Act as ambassadors for their home countries and bring back home new understanding and perspectives from their host country

Salary:
∎ Tk. 65000 - 70000 (Monthly)
∎ Allowance and other benefits: For first 13 months, Monthly allowance is USD 824, equivalent to Indian Currency including tax. Expenses for housing, insurance, in-service travel for field visit and international travel for NOREC training are covered by organization. For replication period, allowance and other benefits will be set as per WAVE Foundation’s policy.
