Responsibilities & Context:
Research and analyze fashion trends, market needs, and target demographics. Stay updated on global fashion trends, materials, and emerging technologies.
Create original clothing designs aligned with the brand identity.
Develop mood boards, color palettes, and fabric concepts for seasonal collections.
Create design sketches and artwork using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design software.
Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments for each design.
Work closely with pattern makers and sample makers to develop prototypes.
Conduct garment fittings and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper fit and style.
Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and production teams to ensure seamless design execution.
Prepare seasonal collections and present design concepts to buyers.
