Responsibilities & Context:
LEND is looking for talented, creative, and experienced Fashion Designers to join our design team, specializing in Menswear and Womenswear for the European fashion market.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of European fashion aesthetics, contemporary styles, garment construction, fabrics, colors, fits, proportions, and commercial fashion trends.
Candidates with experience in European fashion, European-market products, buying houses, or export-oriented fashion businesses are especially encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Develop creative, contemporary, and commercially viable designs for European menswear and womenswear.
Research European fashion trends, seasonal collections, styles, fabrics, colors, fits, and garment shapes.
Develop new collections based on current and upcoming European market trends.
Prepare design sketches, mood boards, color palettes, and detailed design concepts.
Select appropriate fabrics, trims, accessories, prints, patterns, and embellishments.
Develop designs suitable for European customers and market preferences.
Work closely with production, merchandising, sourcing, and marketing teams.
Develop samples and provide clear design specifications for accurate product execution.
Review samples, fitting, finishing, and construction and suggest necessary modifications.
Monitor European fashion brands, competitors, market trends, and seasonal directions.
Contribute innovative ideas for new products, collections, and commercial fashion lines.
