Maple Tree Education Service is looking for a highly creative and expert-level Video Editor & Videographer who has exceptional skills in professional video editing and post-production.

Video editing expertise is the primary requirement for this position. We are looking for someone who can take ordinary or raw footage and transform it into highly professional, visually engaging, modern and social-media-ready video content.

The ideal candidate must have advanced hands-on experience in professional video editing and should possess a strong creative sense of storytelling, pacing, visual effects, transitions, sound design, color grading and audience engagement.

In addition to expert-level editing skills, the candidate should also be capable of professionally shooting videos using appropriate camera settings, framing, lighting and audio equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Expertly edit raw footage and transform it into polished, professional and highly engaging videos.

• Handle advanced video editing independently from raw footage to final delivery.

• Create professional educational videos, promotional videos, corporate videos, interviews, student testimonials and social media content.

• Create highly engaging Facebook and Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other short-form video content.

• Edit long-form YouTube and educational videos with professional pacing and storytelling.

• Create strong hooks, dynamic cuts and engaging opening sequences to improve audience retention.

• Perform professional color correction and color grading.

• Handle professional audio editing, noise reduction, sound enhancement and sound design.

• Add professional transitions, motion graphics, animations, titles, lower thirds, subtitles, captions and visual effects.

• Select suitable background music, sound effects and other creative elements according to the content.

• Convert long-form videos into multiple engaging short-form videos for social media.

• Understand the purpose and target audience of each video and apply the appropriate editing style.

• Maintain consistent branding and professional visual standards across all Maple Tree Education Service content.

• Stay updated with modern video editing techniques, social media trends, Reels and Shorts editing styles.

• Professionally shoot videos when required, including proper camera operation, framing, composition, lighting and audio setup.

• Organize and maintain raw footage, project files and final video archives.

• Work closely with the management and marketing team to develop creative video concepts.

• Complete assigned video projects within deadlines without compromising quality.
