Must be competent in a National Skills Certificate (NSC) in Graphic Design trade.
Must hold BNQF Level 3 Certification in Graphic Design.
CBT&A/CBA Methodology Level 4 certification is mandatory.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other relevant graphic design software.
Sound knowledge of competency-based training, assessment methodologies, and industry-standard graphic design practices.
Strong portfolio demonstrating professional graphic design skills and practical project experience.
Knowledge of digital marketing, social media content design, branding, and print production will be an added advantage.
Physically and mentally fit to perform training and computer lab-related responsibilities.
Strong communication, presentation, leadership, classroom, and assessment management skills.
Conduct theoretical and practical training in graphic design and related digital design occupations.
Deliver training in accordance with Competency Standards (CS), Competency-Based Learning Materials (CBLM), lesson plans, assessment guidelines, and other approved training procedures.
Train learners in graphic design software and tools, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, AI, and other relevant design applications.
Provide practical training on logo design, branding, typography, image editing, illustration, layout design, social media graphics, print media design, and digital content creation.
Prepare, review, and continuously improve training plans, lesson plans, practical exercises, formative assessments, and instructional materials.
Conduct competency-based assessments and evaluate trainees in line with NSDA CS.
Maintain a disciplined, learner-friendly, creative, and productive classroom and computer lab environment.
Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and safety of computers, software, peripherals, and other training equipment.
Guide trainees in developing professional portfolios and industry-relevant design projects.
Keep trainees updated on current graphic design trends, industry practices, digital tools, and workplace requirements.
Provide technical guidance to trainees to improve their creativity, design skills, and employability in job markets.
Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
