• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Fashion Designing
• Master of Science (MSc) in Fashion Designing
• Shanto Mariam University of Creative Technology,BGMEA University of Fashion Technology students will get preference

• Age 28 to 36 years

• Develop seasonal knitwear collections (men’s, women’s, kids as applicable).

• Create original design concepts, mood boards, color palettes, and themes.

• Prepare detailed sketches (hand/digital) and tech packs.

• Ensure designs meet buyer requirements and brand aesthetics.

• Conduct market research on global fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and silhouettes.

• Analyze competitor products and buyer preferences.

• Present trend forecasts and design direction to management.

• Work closely with sourcing teams to develop knit fabrics, washes, and trims.

• Suggest innovative yarns, textures, and finishes.

• Ensure cost-effective material selection without compromising quality.

• Directly communicate with buyers regarding design concepts and developments.

• Understand buyer briefs and translate them into commercially viable products.

• Participate in buyer meetings, presentations, and approvals.

• Coordinate with merchandising and sampling teams for proto, fit, and SMS samples.

• Ensure timely sample development and quality standards.

• Review samples and provide technical corrections.

• Provide accurate tech packs including measurements, construction details, and BOM.

• Collaborate with pattern makers and production teams.

• Ensure design feasibility for bulk production.

• Guide and mentor junior designers and design assistants.

• Allocate tasks and monitor team performance.

• Foster creativity and innovation within the team.

• Ensure designs meet compliance, sustainability, and buyer standards.
