Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering, Master of Science (MSc) in Textile Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Engineering, Master of Science (MSc) in Industrial Engineering
∎ Foreign Degree holders will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 15 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Factory General Management, Industrial & Production Engineering, Operation
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have Experience in Factory General Management
∎ This role should be the Head of a factory reporting into the Head of Production of the Group who is based in Head Office
∎ Shoulder up full range of day to day production responsibilities and carry out the production planning designated by the group
∎ Manage the operation within agreed KPIs
∎ Provide correct skill set to perform the demands of business and customer
∎ Lead the production team to improve the overall productivity and quality, control cost and reduce production lead-time and maintain a stable workforce
∎ Work closely with HR, Administration, Logistics, IT and all production related departments to enhance the production efficiency and operation environment
∎ Ensure the alignment with the corporate business goals
∎ Implement ad-hoc projects as assigned by the Head Office
∎ Minimum 10 years' experience in garment manufacturers (lingerie or knits) of which at least 5 years in managerial or executive position
∎ Proven track records in managing a large-scale (over 5,000 workers) garment manufacturing operation in South Asia
∎ Conversant with production planning, production management and quality control
∎ Knowledge in Lean manufacturing is preferable
∎ Strategic, independent, strong leadership and project management skills with change mindset
∎ Ability to overcome obstacles using positive attitude, teamwork, and influence through building and maintaining relationships.
∎ Stationed in Bangladesh and able to travel occasionally
∎ Lingerie experience is highly preferable, knit can be considered. NO to woven/ denim
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Fluent spoken and written English, able to speak local language is highly preferable
Salary: Negotiable
