∎ Experience to handle M & S buyer get preference.
∎ In-depth knowledge of fabric properties, and testing methods.
∎ Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to fabrics.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skill for effective collaboration with various teams and suppliers.
∎ A keen eye for detail and a passion for staying updated on the latest fabric trends and technologies.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Coordinate and manage bookings for development fabrics and ensure timely follow-up with suppliers.
∎ Order Color standard from CIS/Power apps.
∎ RMC/Fabric quality approval from buyer.
∎ Negotiating prices, lead times, and payment terms with fabric suppliers.
∎ Oversee the booking of bulk fabrics and maintain consistent follow-up to ensure on-time delivery.
∎ Monitor the progress of lab dips and strike-offs, ensuring timely approvals as per buyer requirements.
∎ Bulk Fabric hanger approval from buying team to ensure alignment with the required quality and specifications.
∎ Conduct and manage all kinds of fabric testing to ensure compliance with quality and buyer standards.
∎ Evaluate and get fabric shade lots approval to ensure uniformity and consistency in fabric color.
∎ Inspecting and approving bulk fabrics to ensure they meet required standards.
∎ Resolving quality issues with suppliers or mills if defects are identified.
∎ Acting as a bridge between suppliers, buyers, and production teams.
∎ Providing regular updates to the production and merchandising teams about fabric status.
∎ Ensuring all fabrics meet regulatory and buyer-specific compliance requirements, such as environmental and safety standards.
