Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a fabric technologist who has 10 + years of experience as fabric technologist as a denim woven fabric marketing. Excellent knowledge in fabric processing and fabric testing. He will be responsible for fabric processing (Fabric inspection, shade segregation and shrinkage) fabric testing. Able to handle fabric quality issues with supplier and Buyer. Responsible for achieving sales target.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement testing of fabric and garments all initial stages of the garment development process.
∎ Evaluate garment wash/ dye performances in terms of aesthetically, color & testing performances.
∎ Responsible for developing fabric and ensuring that they are maintained to minimum commercial standards of the customer with the fabric supplier local & international .
∎ Liaison with product managers and buyers, to make sure that chosen fabrics meet the needs of their clients in terms of quality & performance. Obtain Woven garments orders to the factory.
∎ Communicates with external customers in order to maximize monthly capacity.
∎ Plans day wise requirement as well as monthly requirement of orders; also takes strategy to fill the numbers
∎ Develops new customers to increase garments order volume
∎ Takes regular feedback to improve customer satisfaction
∎ Ensures order wise reconciliation Need to lead Raw material Quality department (Fabric inspection, testing and trims inspection)
∎ Assembly all possible challenges due to fabric in garment production and day to day task.
∎ Monitoring in housed fabric testing, inspection, shade segregation, shrinkage, and other issues arise during cutting. Make commercial decision from technical perspective.
∎ Visit & coordinate fabric supplier to ensure fabric quality and closely work with fabric supplier through merchandiser to settle down fabric claim issue.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in sorting garment factory fabric issue and technical know-how of bulk fabric production as Fabric Technologist in a fast paced multinational company.
∎ Experienced in H&M , Gap, Primark , C&A, Inditex is preferred .
∎ Knowledge in all fabric related areas (Woven Fabric ) - Fabric management. Technical knowledge & experience are essential for Woven Fabric Construction
∎ Strong knowledge on fabric test parameters is must.
∎ Should have practical experience in a fast paced/multi-cultural environment.
∎ Must have sound knowledge in computer literacy , specially MS office , excel ,Internet and other communicative operation applications
∎ Fluency in English as well as local language
