∎ Bachelor’s degree in international relations, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Communications, Information Management, Computer Science or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience.

∎ Experience in data analysis, research, and report writing.
∎ Experience in relevant issues such as migration, displacement, and humanitarian assistance.

∎ Experience in writing technical requirement documents, translating/planning specifications to technical briefs for data capture/analysis; and compiling diverse datasets.
∎ Strong computer background, including experience with relational databases, Microsoft applications, spreadsheets, and word processing.
∎ Strong skills in Excel, Word and In Design.
∎ Good Communication and Negotiation Skills.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Support the designing and development of all the required reports and information products of NPM program, including, but not limited to : Data collection tools, Comprehensive analytical and statistical reports, infographics, and presentation summarizing key findings, Dissemination of NPM products, Provide user support, guidelines/training materials, and training to the relevant stakeholders in the deployment, use, and maintenance of databases/dashboards and data collection systems, Prepare and develop analytical tools and reports for displacement trends, needs assessment, and programme activities using the various program databases.
∎ Contribute to statistical and trend analyses of the data and information and map the identified conditions and needs in areas affected by the disaster. And report feedback regarding any inconsistencies.
∎ Contribute to data quality and consistency through regular validation and verification process.
∎ In collaboration with the NPM Coordinator, coordinate, manage, and implement data collection activities and conduct analysis in close collaboration with the relevant sectors and stakeholders.
∎ Contribute to organizing the training for the data collection team and participating in field visits.
∎ Plan, develop and deliver training and capacity building for relevant partners on data collection and analysis based on NPM methodology and tools.
∎ Collect and ensure accuracy and verification of data (data cleaning, monitoring), in collaboration with the NPM Operations Team.

∎ Job Description
∎ Under the overall supervision of in Head of Sub Office and Head of Operations, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh and the direct supervision of the Needs and Population Monitoring (NPM) Coordinator, the successful candidate will be expected to support the data analysis, design, and reporting activities and contribute towards overall publications and editorial process of NPM’s information product.
