Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Attend pre-production meetings with functional managers.
∎ Instruct the maintenance department on upcoming styles.
∎ Guide the cutting department on cut marks and seam allowances.
∎ Prepare operation breakdowns for various garments.
∎ Calculate SMV using time study techniques.
∎ Balance production lines based on manning levels, skills, and operation difficulties.
∎ Develop machine layouts and coordinate line feeding.
∎ Monitor daily line lost time and individual employee efficiency.
∎ Adjust line balancing for absenteeism and maintain skill inventory.
∎ Monitor hourly production and implement new techniques for smooth production.
