Major Duties and responsibilities:
For Computer System Validation:
Manage plant-wide IT operations covering enterprise applications, IT infrastructure, network services, cybersecurity, databases, end-user computing, and support services.
Ensure high availability, security, performance, and compliance of all site IT systems and computerized platforms supporting business and plant operations.
Administer, maintain, and enhance business, manufacturing, quality, and other site applications to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
Oversee servers, storage, network connectivity, hardware, backup systems, disaster recovery readiness, and collaboration and communication tools.
Implement and monitor cybersecurity controls, user access management, patching, endpoint protection, system monitoring, and compliance with IT policies and standards.
Support computerized system validation, data integrity, change management, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance for GxP-relevant systems.
Lead IT planning, budgeting, technology upgrades, capacity enhancement, user training, and continuous improvement initiatives in line with business and compliance needs.
For Process:
Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of process machinery.
Ensure machines/equipment operate at agreed efficiency levels and maximize utilization in production units.
Participate in the installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation of machinery and equipment as per standards.
Ensure proper inventory management of process machinery and spare parts.
Maintain engineering history files, engineering drawings, and other validation documents.
Prepare and review engineering SOPs and EOPs, and conduct training for staff.
For EHS:
Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard identification to identify potential hazards and implement control measures.
Develop and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees.
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid incidents.
Investigate all accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents promptly and thoroughly.
Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations, including air, water, and waste management.
Promote energy conservation and sustainable practices.
