Job Responsibilities:
∎ Know the products to be sourced very well.
∎ Get connected with the growers of the products to be sourced.
∎ Evaluate price and service offerings of different sources.
∎ Inspect the sources physically to get a better understanding.
∎ Record all the details of the sources of the products on a database. There should be at
∎ least three different sources per product.
∎ Ensure the best quality products in the most cost-effective way.
∎ Update the database with the pre-order, during-order, and after-order KPIs (meeting
∎ quality specifications, delivery schedule, financial terms, etc.). Rank the sources based
∎ on their performance.
∎ Nurture the suppliers continuously so they improve day by day.
∎ Identify and report the reorder level and safety stock of the products.
∎ Prepare and maintain all the necessary documents related to sourcing, purchasing, and
∎ procuring.
∎ Develop new sources, develop new products, and develop new strategies to develop
∎ new markets.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3-5 years of experience in similar role preferably in similar industry
∎ A demonstrated history of achieving business goals
∎ Comfortable with frequent field visits
∎ We'll value any certification on related upskilling.
