Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Maintain and update inventory records, using computer systems or manual methods.
∎ Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile them with inventory records.
∎ Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, losses, or shortages in inventory.
∎ Order, receive, inspect, and store incoming goods, and issue or distribute them as needed.
∎ Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory, following safety and security procedures.
∎ Prepare and submit inventory reports, such as stock levels, turnover, wastage, and forecasts
∎ Coordinate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to optimize inventory levels and meet customer demand.
∎ Implement and monitor inventory policies and procedures, and suggest improvements as necessary.
